Insurance Information
The cost of routine eye exams and prescription eyewear can be of real concern, especially for large families. In many cases, vision insurance can lower these annual expenses.
A vision insurance policy is not the same as health insurance. Regular health insurance plans protect you against financial losses due to unexpected eye injuries or disease. Vision insurance, on the other hand, is a wellness benefit designed to provide routine eye care, prescription eyewear and other vision-related services at a reduced cost.
Because we provide both medical and routine eye care, we accept a number of insurance plans to help cover the cost depending on your individual needs. Here are just some of the plans that we accept:
Insurance Plans We Accept
Aetna, Regence Blue Shield, Premera Blue Cross, Cigna, First Choice, Health Plus, Medicare, Medicaid, Uniform Medical, United Healthcare, Vision Service Plan
We do accept other plans as well, so if your specific insurance company is not listed above, please give us a call, and we would be happy to let you know if we are providers under your plan.
Payment Plans
Cash paying patients without insurance receive a discount if payment is made on the day of service. In certain situations, payment plans can also be arranged.

Many times patients come to us with medical conditions of the eye that need treatment. Examples of this are glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, infections, inflammation, diabetes, and ocular injuries. In these situations, medical insurance is used for your visit.
If a refraction is also performed at this visit, it is typically not covered under medical insurance; however, there is a discount if you pay that day.
